Are you a manufacturer of stair treads, stair parts or other linear moulding profiles; or do you have an established relationship with a particular supplier?

We offer competitive standard finishing rates for linear profiles, balusters, newel posts, stair treads, and other wood products where we do not supply the actual substrate.

You supply the material and arrange to have it shipped to our facility, we stain, finish, and pack the material and then ship it to your warehouse or straight to your customer.  We can then either bill the freight to you or use your existing freight relationships and bill third party.

The end result is a product that you can offer prefinished to your customer more economically and efficiently than you can do in house.

Specs at a glance

Dimensions:

• Linear profiles must be greater than 28" in length

• Maximum lengths for efficiency should be less than 16' but arrangements can be made for greater lengths

• Maximum width for machine finished profiles is 13"

• Panels and larger substrates can be finished but are subject to different rates and may be finished by hand using spray equipment

Species:

• Nearly every wood species can be finished on our equipment

Stain:

• Available in all of Moulding Solutions' current stain colors.  These colors match hundreds of prefinished wood floorcovering products and most popular site-finished colors.
• Custom color matched stains available
• Additional fees may apply for stained products

Finish:

• Each finish solution is different and tailored to your needs, in general, stair treads are machine finished in our facility with 5 coats of finish.  The finish has added UV inhibitors to reduce the effects of ambering.
• Linear profiles range from 1-3 coats of Diamond Coat 
• Moulding Solutions uses only environmentally friendly, VOC compliant finishes. Our high solids, high build finishes are machine applied and quick cured through various methods including chemical reaction and energy based methods.  The result is an even coat along the entire length of the product.  Our finishes have an added UV absorber to prolong the life of the finish and resist ambering, or "yellowing" of the product from age.  The resulting product will last for years to come.
