Common Uses:

·         Commercial application

·         Limited residential applications

·         Brings wood floors of multiple thicknesses into compliance with the 1:12 slope requirements of the ADA Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities (ADAAG) section 4.5.2

·         Each section may be used individually in succession for lesser transition heights

 

Special Features:

  • The guesswork is removed from odd transition heights, the 1:12 slope is maintained along the entire baseline
  • Installers may cut the reducer to match the floor thickness at specified points to account for all thicknesses from ¼" - 1"
  • Sections "A"-"C" allow for transitions up to ¾"
  • Section "X" (not shown) transitions from ¾"-1"
  • Special order sections "X" (not shown) allow for transitions over 1"
  • Wiring channels can be added for at sections "C" or "X" to allow for concealed wire or  cable routing
